Royal Hunt Cup runner-up Librisa Breeze, a leading contender for the Gigaset International Stakes at Ascot on Saturday, seems set to swerve that race and head to York instead for the Read Richard Fahey's Column At sportinglife.com Stakes.

The Ascot contest has prize-money of £150,000, which is £125,000 more than what York offers, but the prospect of quick ground at the Berkshire track is tempting Hertfordshire trainer Dean Ivory to look north.

A son of Mount Nelson, Librisa Breeze was a length and a quarter behind Portage at Royal Ascot and dropping back a furlong from a mile should not be a problem according to Ivory, who also has Kadrizzi, Sirius Prospect and Golden Amber engaged at York.
