History maker Snowfall given green light for Irish Oaks on Saturday

The history maker Snowfall, whose 16-length Oaks romp was the biggest winning margin in 242 years of the Epsom Classic, has been given the green light to contest the Juddmonte Irish Oaks on Saturday and she has scared away any meaningful opposition.

Paddy Power have made Snowfall their 2-7 favourite, while Ladbrokes go even shorter at 1-5, as she bids to emulate Enable, who was the last filly to complete the English-Irish Oaks double in 2017.

Her trainer Aidan O'Brien, who would join Sir Michael Stoute as the winningmost trainer in the Classic with six winners if successful at the Curragh, is responsible for five of the nine entries with High Heels, Divinely, Willow and La Joconde also standing their ground.
