First Group 1 1998
Jeremy Noseda celebrated a memorable first Group 1 success with Wannabe Grand in his first year of training in Britain when she landed the Cheveley Park Stakes at Newmarket. The mount of Pat Eddery prevailed by half a length over Imperial Beauty and went on to be placed in the 1,000 Guineas, Coronation Stakes and Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup in America.

Breeders' Cup triumph2004
Noseda demonstrated international enterprise in abundance during his career and enjoyed victory in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile with Wilko in 2004. Frankie Dettori’s mount belied 20-1 odds to score by three-quarters of a length before joining US trainer Craig Dollase.

Irish Guineas success2006
Araafa kickstarted what proved to be a highlight year for Noseda with an inaugural Classic victory in the Irish 2,000 Guineas. Alan Munro’s mount beat George Washington by two lengths and landed the St James’s Palace Stakes on his next start at Royal Ascot.

British Classic glory 2006
A first British Classic success for Noseda came at York in 2006 when Sixties Icon won the St Leger under Frankie Dettori. Sixties Icon defeated The Last Drop by two and a half lengths and went on to win four Group races over the next two years.

Desormeaux debacle2015
US jockey Kent Desormeaux told Noseda "he can kiss my ass" after the trainer publicly criticised his ride on the unplaced Mister Brightside in the Hollywood Derby at Del Mar. Noseda tweeted hours after the race, stating it was "the first time I have ever had a jockey 'school' my horse in a Grade One," and later claimed the rider was "rude to me and he was rude to my lad – it was an ill-mannered lack of class one wouldn't expect from a Hall of Fame rider."

Banned substance2016
Noseda was fined £2,000 for two separate positive tests returned the previous year by Librisa Breeze. A finding of prohibited substance Temazepam was found in the horse's system after running at Windsor and York, as well as a metabolite of cocaine in the urine sample provided at the Berkshire course, with the grey disqualified from both races and subsequently moved to Dean Ivory.

Horse tests positive for cocaine2018
It was widely reported the Phoenix Thoroughbred-owned Walk In The Sun tested positive for cocaine after his second victory at Lingfield in February. No charges have been made to date although a retired trainer can still be charged should an investigation come to a close.

Phoenix horses leave2018
Noseda was left shocked in May last year when owners Phoenix Thoroughbred took away 14 horses from Shalfleet stables. They included Gronkowski, a subsequent second in the Dubai World Cup this year, and Lansky, who had finished fourth in the Mill Reef the previous year.
