Just to ensure there are no summits left unconquered by the brilliant Baaeed his victory in York’s Juddmonte International took him to the top of the Tote Ten To Follow list of leading horses with 156.77 points, 26.37 points clear of Naval Crown.

It was the third bonus race, after the Queen Anne and Sussex Stakes, collected by the unbeaten colt and garnered 52.41 points for 86.3 per cent of stables.

The Nunthorpe Stakes was the second bonus race on the Knavesmire, with Highfield Princess adding 58.25 points to put her in third spot overall with 105.35 points. Some 4.1 per cent of stables had the vision to include the hugely progressive John Quinn-trained mare in their teams.

Selecting the winner of the Ebor Handicap at the competition’s flagfall is a tricky task but 1.2 per cent of stables picked up 48.50 points, including 25 bonus points, which put him tenth in the list of leading horses.

Also at York, Kirsten Rausing’s Alpinista was a popular winner of the Yorkshire Oaks. The mare has been selected by 10.6 per cent of stables and gave her followers 28.80 points.

At Deauville, Moyglare Stud’s Trevaunance added the Prix de la Nonette to her Normandy tally. The 43.00 points gained for just 0.1 per cent of stables takes her to 96.60 for the season and fourth place in the table.

With Baaeed, Highfield Princess, Alpinista and Inspiral in their team, O sue sweet is the new leader in the competition and have Little Big Bear and Persian Force also in their ranks to add autumn firepower.
