Harry Cobden: 'I haven't decided my King George ride - Hitman is the dark horse'

Harry Cobden says he is not underestimating Hitman's chances in the King George and has yet to decide which of the top two in the betting he will ride in Kempton's Boxing Day feature.

Paul Nicholls' stable jockey has ridden King George favourite Bravemansgame on every start under rules, and his odds of 5-4 are a reflection of his impressive victories over the course and distance in the Kauto Star Novices' Chase last season and on his comeback at Wetherby this season.

But recent Haydock winner Hitman, a 7-2 chance, is a tempting option and Cobden said: "They're both in good form and what I said to Paul is that we'd school them the week before the race when fingers crossed they will both be fit and well. Then we'd make the decision.
