Tote betting is only a small part of the British market

Alex Frost and his colleagues at the UK Tote Group have achieved their aim of taking over control of the Tote but the hard work does not stop now, in fact it has only just begun.

They have assembled a talented and experienced team of executives from across the betting industry which is a good start.

Unlike countries with pool betting monopolies like Hong Kong and Japan, the Tote only forms a small part of the British betting landscape, making up around two to three per cent of the market.
