Rossa Ryan eyes first Group success on Hannon's Boitron in Italian Guineas
4.45 Capannelle
Premio Parioli Shadwell (Group 3) | 1m | 3yo colts
Rossa Ryan has an opportunity for a first Group race success as he partners the talented Boitron in the Italian 2,000 Guineas on Sunday.
The son of Le Havre won his first three races, including the Listed Denford Stakes, before a fourth-placed effort behind Royal Marine in the Group 1 Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere.
He was slightly disappointing when only fifth of eight in the Greenham on his return, but he has a good chance of bouncing back for the Richard Hannon team.
Hannon said: "I think he will have improved big time since his first run and it looks a good race for him. It's a nice opportunity for Rossa. He's a good lad and has come on a lot as a jockey, so it's great for him. We're very hopeful of a big run."
Frankie Dettori takes the ride on Foot Of King for Endo Botti, while Andrea Atzeni is booked to ride Out Of Time, who won a Listed race in Italy last time.
Those two riders also feature in the Italian edition of the 1,000 Guineas, Premio Regina Elena Shadwell (3.30 Capannelle).
Atzeni rides Stone Tornado, while Dettori partners Greach. Gerald Mosse also features and rides Fullness Of Life.
