Boylesports: will support the Irish Grand National for a further four years

BoyleSports have pledged their support to the Irish Grand National by confirming the signing of a four-year deal to extend their sponsorship of the €500,000 showpiece in advance of the 150th running in 2020.

By the end of the latest contract, Ireland's largest independent bookmaker will have backed the country's richest jumps race for ten years.

Willie Mullins landed the race for the first time last year, when Ruby Walsh led home a historic one-two-three for the champion trainer aboard Burrows Saint.

BoyleSports CEO Conor Gray was joined by Fairyhouse manager Peter Roe and the firm's racing ambassador Robbie Power as they celebrated the deal at BoyleSports headquarters in Dundalk on Monday.

Leon Blanche, head of communications for BoyleSports, said: "We are delighted once again to be sponsoring the BoyleSports Irish Grand National and with a pot of €500,000 to play for at Fairyhouse on Easter Monday, we're going to relish what is certain to be another competitive renewal of the showpiece event on the Irish National Hunt calendar.

"As a company we pride ourselves on our continued commitment to Irish racing and with this new deal taking us up to ten years as the main sponsor of the iconic race, we can look forward with vigour to some thrilling contests with €2 million up for grabs over the next four years."
