With three horses - Thunder And Roses, Delusionofgrandeur and Walk In The Mill - earning their places in Saturday’s Randox Health Grand National as reserves following the withdrawals of Minella Rocco, Vicente and Beeves due to the going, the racecard will have an unusual look to it.

The reserves have taken the numbers of the horses they replaced in the race, so Thunder And Roses, who replaces Minella Rocco, will be number one on the racecard, Delusionofgrandeur, who replaces Vicente, will be number 12, and Walk In The Mill, who replaces Beeves, will be number 24.

The Racing Post has elected to keep these horses in racecard position, so Thunder And Roses, who carries number one, tops the list of runners.

However, Aintree and the BHA have decided to show these runners at the bottom of the field in weight order in their racecards, even though they will be out of sequence as they carry racecard numbers one, 12 and 24.
