Going unchanged although ground may ease on day two
Cheltenham's clerk of the course Simon Claisse left the going as good to soft on Friday evening but indicated the ground might ease on day two of the November meeting.
There is a chance of a shower on Saturday afternoon, although only a millimetre of rain is expected.
Claisse said on Friday: "We're expecting a dry night with no frost as it should be around 4C tonight. Temperatures should reach 8C in the afternoon, with the possibility of a light shower amounting to no more than 1mm of rain.
"I'm leaving the ground as good to soft tonight but we may find that having opened it up today it may ease a little."
