Going on the firm side for day two of Ebor festival
Ground conditions are set to stay on the firm side on the second day of the Ebor meeting.
The going remained officially good to firm, good in places on Wednesday night and clerk of the course William Derby said: "There are a few showers around tonight so we will not do any watering.
"They were good-to-firm times today and there was positive feedback from the jockeys. The forecast is for tomorrow to be cloudy with sunny spells, dry but fresher."
Jockeys riding on Wednesday reported the ground to be somewhere between good and good to firm. PJ McDonald said: "It's lovely good to firm ground and they're just leaving a print."
