Godolphin extend Fantasy Stable League into the summer
Godolphin will extend their successful Fantasy Stable League competition, which ran during the Dubai Carnival, into the northern hemisphere season with a chance to win an all-expenses-paid trip to the 2018 Dubai World Cup.
The competition roughly follows the same format as other fantasy sports competitions, allowing players to take control of their own stable of horses for the season.
The free-to-enter competition will be open to members of the organisations Club Godolphin and involves picking ten Godolphin-owned horses in training in the UK, Ireland, France and the USA.
Points are awarded for horses that finish in the first three in any race, with higher scores awarded for Pattern races on a sliding scale. There will also be a chance to earn bonus points by predicting where Godolphin horses will finish in selected weekly bonus races, irrespective of whether the horses are in the entrants' yard.
The new competition, referred to as round two, opens on April 4 and ends on July 20. Round three has been scheduled to begin on August 1, giving two chances to win through the turf season. There will be monthly prizes as well as the main prizes for winners.
To enter, go to the Club Godolphin website to register for free entry and for more information on the competition.
