It is often said you should never mix business with family. Blood isn't always thicker than water and the end result can be explosive.

Thankfully for the broadcasting team behind ITV Racing there was only warmth and goodwill as trainer Luca Cumani and daughter Francesca came together on camera following God Given's victory in the Park Hill Stakes.

It had become a running family joke that Francesca's appearances as presenter on racing's terrestrial broadcaster had put some sort of curse on her father's horses.
