Geraghty sets sights on Sunday return at Tipperary

Barry Geraghty is targetting a return to race-riding at Tipperary this Sunday.

The 36-year-old, who suffered a double fracture to his right humerus in a crashing fall at the final fence in the Betfred Summer Plate at Market Rasen in July, revealed he is feeling stronger with each day and has been riding out this week.

He said: “I was riding out on Monday and Tuesday morning and I am feeling good. There is nothing set in stone, but I am feeling stronger and if I am to ride this weekend it will more than likely be on Sunday at Tipperary."
