The bloodless win of Il Est Francais in Sunday's Grade 1 Prix Renaud du Vivier at Auteuil was the strongest evidence yet to father-and-son duo Tom and Noel George that their ambitious Anglo-French venture is bearing fruit.

Cheltenham Festival-winning trainer Tom George, whose last domestic Grade 1 success came in 2019 with The Worlds End's victory in the Long Walk Hurdle, is operating a satellite yard with a temporary licence in France.

However, an ambitious three-year game plan will see his 23-year-old son Noel soon take over a stable in Chantilly in partnership with Goffs agent Amanda Zetterholm.
