Royal Ascot winner Dramatised is set to run in the Breeders' Cup next month after delighting Karl Burke in a crucial workout at Southwell.

She is being aimed at the 5½f Juvenile Turf Sprint on November 4 and could be joined at Keeneland by stablemates White Lavender and Holloway Boy.

The speedy Queen Mary Stakes winner has not raced since failing to last home over 6f in the Lowther Stakes at York in August.

"It's fair to say she wasn't really pleasing us about a month or six weeks ago and we weren't sure which way we were going to go with her," Burke said.

"But in the last two or three weeks she's really worked well and the last bit of the jigsaw was to take her away and see how she galloped round a bend and she did that exceptionally well.

"Dramatised and White Lavender worked round the bend after racing at Southwell and both worked very well, particularly Dramatised so it looks as though she'll take her chance in the Juvenile Sprint as long as she's okay – you'd think that should suit her. Danny Tudhope rode her and was delighted with her."

A likely rival in the Juvenile Turf Sprint is The Platinum Queen, who beat White Lavender a short neck in the Prix de l'Abbaye at Longchamp.

White Lavender is under consideration for the Turf Sprint at Keeneland and Burke said: "She ran a fantastic race in the Abbaye but she's ground dependent, she wants a bit of juice in the ground. She'll go only if there's rain forecast but it's pretty quick out there at the moment."

Holloway Bay could also book a trip to the world's richest meeting if he runs a big race in the Vertem Futurity Trophy at Doncaster on Saturday.

Burke has had two previous Breeders' Cup runners, Havana Grey finishing 12th in the Turf Sprint in 2018 and Living In The Past 14th in the Juvenile Fillies' Turf the following year.
