After sending out three winners split between Fairyhouse and Yarmouth on Wednesday, the in-form Jessica Harrington sends five runners to Dundalk on Friday including the lightly raced World Tax War for this conditions event.

The son of Acclamation finished well for third place in a mile maiden at Navan earlier this month when returning from a long break and Harrington said: “World Tax War ran well at Navan where he had no luck in running.

“He’s in good form and we’re running him because the ground at the turf tracks is too soft and unsuitable for him just now.”

Colm O’Donoghue’s mount will be racing on Polytrack for the first time, while his nine rivals include experienced course winners Spruce Meadows and Poitin.

Spruce Meadows has won four times at the course, including two victories over this 1m2f trip. The Johnny Feane-trained four-year-old has since run third in a premier handicap at the Curragh.

Keith Clarke’s Poitin has posted five of her nine wins at Dundalk, two of them over this distance.

“I thought she was very unlucky when fifth in the Red God Handicap last time,” said the trainer.

“She couldn’t find a gap. If she had, I think she might have won. She’s got a mighty record at Dundalk and we’re expecting a big performance.”

Jim Bolger is represented by Sanus Per Aquam, a Group 3 winner two years ago when he also ran third in the Dewhurst Stakes. Lightly raced since, Kevin Manning’s mount hasn’t been seen since May.

De Coronado, who represents Aidan O’Brien, is a brother to the mighty American filly Zenyatta but has disappointed in five starts this year having won a mile maiden over this course last season.
