As the weekend draws near there's a feast of Friday racing with punters able to sink their teeth into eight meetings across Britain and Ireland.

The Listed Byerley Stud Stakes at Newbury is the highlight of the afternoon action, with Wolverhampton and Nottingham also hosting racing, while the Curragh stages two Group 3s in the evening including the Irish St Leger Trial.

Thirsk, Tramore, Chelmsford and Newmarket also hold meetings on Friday night.
