Beaten Ballydoyle Derby horses could surpass the winner in time

Only a head separated Tiger Moth from upsetting stablemate Santiago in the weekend's highlight and considering the runner-up's inexperience, he could turn out to be better than the winner later this season.

He confirmed his superiority over Irish Derby third Dawn Patrol from their Leopardstown maiden encounter earlier this month, but that defeated rival was a huge eyecatcher after getting no luck in running, flying home for third.
