Postponed will aim to show his ascent to the top of the world's turf rankings was only temporarily delayed by sickness by proving himself at another distance today.

The five-year-old who missed the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes because of a respiratory infection is unbeaten in his last five starts to become the world's top rated mile-and-a-half horse.

Today at the so-called 'graveyard of champions' Postponed puts his 100 per cent record for trainer Roger Varian on the line as he drops back to a mile and two and a half furlongs seeking his first win at an intermediate distance.
