Recent winners of the calibre of Canford Cliffs, Toronado, Solow, Ribchester and of course Frankel have spoiled us, so by comparison this is not a vintage renewal, but it can't be that weak if last year's surprise one-two of Accidental Agent and Lord Glitters are both double-figure prices.

Lockinge form is often key and Mustashry, for whom it was a first Group 1 success at the age of six, is a big player. However, connections of Laurens, Accidental Agent, Romanised and Le Brivido all have grounds for fancying their chances of reversing that form.
