Royal Ascot 2019: what the bookmakers say
Who is your pick in an open Queen Anne Stakes?
Pat Cooney, bet365
Le Brivido was badly drawn and can be rated as unlucky in the Lockinge. I suspect he’ll be at his peak for this and be hard to beat.
Niall O'Reilly, Betfair
Accidental Agent would be my tentative pick. He came right back to form with an excellent run in the Lockinge and loves the straight mile at Ascot, while the fact he handles soft ground is a positive given the volatile weather forecast.
Andrew Griffiths, Betfred
A wide-open race to start the meeting and ideal for bookmakers with no standout contender. It looks a contest where an each-way play at a price is the way to go and perhaps Hazapour can outrun his odds.
