'He could be anything' - Andrew Dietz answers the big questions for day five at Royal Ascot

What's the big story?

Royal Ascot is famed for its international competition and, in terms of the best taking on the best from around the world, the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes (3.40) provides a fitting finale to the week.

Japanese sprinting star Satono Reve bids to provide his country with a historic first success at the royal meeting and will be joined by a strong French challenge headed by favourite and Wathnan Racing's new purchase Lazzat and also featuring Topgear and Sajir.

Storm Boy might now represent Aidan O'Brien and Coolmore, but he was made in Australia and there will be plenty of interest in how he fares from down under.

What about the home challenge in the Jubilee?

They've got a proper fight on their hands. Inisherin is surrounded by the international runners towards the head of the market, but he has obvious claims following his victory in last year's Commonwealth Cup over course and distance.

He went a bit off the boil after the meeting last year, but got back on track on his comeback in the Duke of York when winning from the reopposing Flora Of Bermuda, about whom there is quiet confidence within the Wathnan camp.

What are the other main races?

The Wokingham (5.00) is traditionally one of the trickiest punting puzzles of the week and this year is no different with 28 runners set to blaze a trail over the six-furlong straight course.

More Thunder, a dual winner at Newmarket this spring, is the forecast favourite as owner Saeed Suhail looks for a big handicap double following Never So Brave's success in the Buckingham Palace.

The Group 2 Hardwicke Stakes (3.05) is always a race to savour and looks right up to scratch, with globetrotting superstar Rebel's Romance and Amo Racing's recent £2 million recruit Ghostwriter among the leading contenders.

Anything else to look out for?

Treanmor, who makes his second start in the Chesham Stakes (2.30), looked an absolute monster on his debut at Newmarket when he earned the rarely used "impressive" comment from the Racing Post's close-up writer. The €2 million Frankel colt could be anything.

Any advice to finish the week on a high?

Seraph Gabriel looked a three-year-old worth following on his second at Sandown last time and appears to have fared well enough in the draw for the Golden Gates Stakes (5.35), being housed in stall 16.
