Douglas Macarthur, who put himself at the top of the Derby market when landing a maiden over today's course and distance by five lengths in July, will be out to further advertise his Classic potential by giving Aidan O'Brien a seventh consecutive win in this event which subsequent dual Derby winner Australia won in 2013.

A brother of Oaks winner Was, Douglas Macarthur erased the memory of a disappointing debut effort at Leopardstown when trouncing his rivals last time. The son of Galileo had started odds on for his debut when finishing last of six.
