US Army Ranger, the Investec Derby runner-up, will be on the trail of a second Group 3 victory and a performance to set him up for other end of season missions when he faces four rivals, two of them Ballydoyle stablemates, in this event.

Sent off favourite for the Epsom Classic, the lightly-raced colt, who won the Chester Vase in May, could finish only fourth in the Royal Whip Stakes at the Curragh last month having had a break after missing the Irish Derby due to a hold-up.
