Sensational Knicks Go posts best Classic-winning RPR since Arrogate
The headline performance of the 2021 Breeders' Cup came from the brilliant Classic winner Knicks Go, who posted the best performance in the race since Arrogate in 2016.
What looked set to be a competitive renewal of the Classic didn’t quite materialise as expected. Knicks Go was allowed an uncontested lead with none of Medina Spirit, Essential Quality or Hot Rod Charlie serving it up to him as had been anticipated. That said, Knicks Go’s record since joining Brad Cox is hard to knock and he was impressive in success.
The next best RPR recorded at the meeting came courtesy of Life Is Good (125) in the Mile as he created a lasting impression in taking his record to four from five and could be set to dominate his division.
