'He might be the pick of mine' - Elliott gives lowdown on Grand National team

Gordon Elliott will be responsible for a staggering eight of the 40 runners in the Randox Grand National and has nominated Delta Work as his best chance of glory, describing his jumping over the National-style fence he constructed at Cullentra House as "class" on Tuesday morning.

Fred Rimell and Ginger McCain are the most successful trainers in the history of the great race with four victories, and Elliott will join them if one of his eight runners is able to follow in the footsteps of back-to-back winner Tiger Roll and Silver Birch.

Delta Work played the role of party-pooper in the Glenfarclas Cross Country Chase at Cheltenham as the five-time Grade 1 winner surged late to spoil the Tiger Roll fairytale, and Elliott has been thrilled with the way he has come out of that epic tussle.
