Briar Hill, winner of the 2013 Weatherbys Champion Bumper and a smart performer over hurdles until suffering a bad injury at the 2014 Cheltenham Festival, starts off over fences in this event on his first appearance since January.

The Willie Mullins-trained eight-year-old broke his cheekBone when he fell in the Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle two years ago and has not won since landing a Grade 2 novice hurdle at Naas in January 2014.
