Henry de Bromhead's achievements in the last four weeks have been truly historic, but even now he has not received the credit he deserves.

He is the first trainer to win all three top jumps races in one season (Champion Hurdle, Gold Cup, Grand National), the first to win all three top Cheltenham Festival races in one season (Champion Hurdle, Champion Chase, Gold Cup), and only the second to have the first two in the Grand National, following Fred Withington in 1908.

Several trainers have won two of the Champion Hurdle, Gold Cup and Grand National in one season, but De Bromhead's treble with Honeysuckle, Minella Indo and Minella Times is unique.
