Next week hundreds of thousands of people will make their way to the Cheltenham Festival just to be a part of the four most special days in the jump racing calendar.

A great many of them will watch on as horses carrying those famous colours of the likes of JP McManus, Rich and Susannah Ricci and Gigginstown House Stud compete for the most prestigious prizes the sport has to offer. They will cheer, they may bet, but ultimately their involvement will be as spectators to this great show unfolding in front of them.

But in among them there will be a select few people whose hearts are beating that good bit faster and who will be engaged with the action so much more. These are the people who have taken the plunge into ownership via syndicates, increasingly the entry point to the sport for those wishing to experience what having a horse feels like.
