Ireland's domination of jump racing has turned Cheltenham green. For the third day of this year's meeting, as on so many days in the past, the colours of the festival are set to be green and gold.

Some crazy things have occurred at the foot of Cleeve Hill this week yet the traditional truth here is few things are more normal than the sight of JP McManus walking into the most cherished of all winner's enclosures. When you look at the betting for the latest feast of action, it's easy to envisage McManus making that walk on multiple occasions.

Bookmakers believe the most successful owner in festival history has a major chance in five of today’s seven races. Jeriko Du Reponet, Jagwar and Johnnywho are all strongly fancied in big-field handicaps and The Wallpark has been well backed for the Paddy Power Stayers' Hurdle, but the horse who leads the McManus team is one rerouted from the Gold Cup to what should be an easier assignment.
