What impact will the inner track have if Ascot uses it on British Champions Day?

The inexact translation between Flat and jump racing means it is hard to know precisely what to expect on Ascot's inner track, which has never before been used for Flat racing and has only been used in approximate terms for hurdles races.

On the hurdles track, broadly speaking things tend to go much the same as on the traditional Flat course. Most races are decided up the straight and horses who are well off the pace at the point they turn in are likely to stay there.
