Rio medallists to join Gordon and Crowley in winner's enclosure

Champion jockey Jim Crowley will receive his trophy at 1pm at Ascot from Rio de Janeiro gold medal winner Nick Skelton, who is among a glittering array of successful Olympians.

Also representing Team GB are Jade Jones (taekwondo), Hannah Cockroft (wheelchair racing), Natasha Baker (dressage), rowing couple Matthew Langridge and Polly Swann, swimming couple Sascha and Nyree Kindred, and Bryony Page (trampolining).

Josephine Gordon is taking a rare day out of the saddle to receive her Stobart Apprentice Jockeys’ Championship trophy, which will also be presented at 1pm.
