Bob Baffert: 'Aidan O'Brien's mindset is the big thing, it's phenomenal, and he has instilled that into his whole family'

Bob Baffert believes nobody will ever surpass Aidan O'Brien's astonishing worldwide achievements and pointed to his mindset as being the main factor that separates him from the pack.
O'Brien edged past D Wayne Lukas on Friday and was momentarily out on his own as the most successful trainer in the history of the Breeders' Cup after Gstaad landed the Juvenile Turf, but Baffert joined him at the top of the table on 21 winners after a big-race double on Saturday with Splendora in the Filly & Mare Sprint and Nysos in the Dirt Mile.
When asked to sum up O'Brien, Baffert said: "To me, it's about his whole family and what he's done. Aidan is the most remarkable trainer but, not only that, as a person too. He's actually a gentleman to go along with everything else. He's so humble. Nobody is ever going to surpass what he's doing at the moment.
