Three runners have completed a marathon 60-hour challenge, during which they visited every one of Ireland's 26 racecourses, raising more than £3,000 for Racing Welfare in the process.

Andre Klein and Tommy Williams from Warwick racecourse, along with Simon Cooper from Weatherbys, set off from the Curragh at 7am on August 6 and attempted to finish all 26 tracks before 7pm on August 8, allowing for 60 hours in total.

They crossed the finish line at Leopardstown at 6.49pm, six minutes within their target and before the start of the Ballyroan Stakes.
