This was the best day of our lives. It was his 100th race at Southwell and we really fancied him. We dared not believe he could do it, but he was particularly well that day. Southwell had gone to great lengths for us beforehand and said 'look, whatever happens, bring him into the winners' enclosure afterwards'. They were going to present him with a cake and all kinds of things. The response he got from the public when he won was fantastic, it just hit home what a well-loved horse he is around there.
