The magnificent seven: promising juveniles to follow in nurseries
Pesto
Trainer: Richard Hannon
Form: 841
This Richard Hannon-trained colt has an ideal profile for nurseries having improved in each of his three runs and was a convincing four-length winner at Leicester last time. That was over seven furlongs and he loved the stiff finish, pulling clear in the final furlong. A mile should be no problem and hopefully he has a nice prize or two in him in the autumn.

Princess Power got into nurseries off a highly attractive mark and took advantage by winning easily at Thirsk before landing a 14-runner event at Newmarket in excellent style, showing a high cruising speed and plenty of pluck in the finish. Those wins came over six furlongs and she should be able to score again over that trip this autumn. She runs at Goodwood on Tuesday and ought to take plenty of beating there.
