He was very green when winning a 2m5f maiden hurdle at Tramore in August and then ran moderately at Galway. Maybe we used the wrong tactics that day and he might be better being held up.

He was very backward last season and had only the one run. It was a good run, too, finishing second in the Land Rover Bumper. He's almost ready to start back and he could be one of our better bumper horses this season.

He won a bumper and a maiden hurdle before his form tapered off a bit last season. He'd schooled well over fences and we started off at Punchestown on Saturday but he got things wrong at the fifth fence and paid the penalty. We'll find another novice chase opportunity for him before long.
