'We've got major ambitions and have unfinished business in the Champion Chase'
There is never time to stand still at Dan Skelton Racing, where the focus is always on the future.
Coming up to his tenth year with a licence, Skelton has built a formidable training operation but his ambition is the same as the day he started, with the ultimate goal to become champion trainer in Britain.
"The last step is the hardest step," says Skelton of his quest. "Whereas we've got two or three elite horses, Paul Nicholls and Nicky Henderson have five or six.
