Denis Harney gets the lowdown from Joseph O'Brien on his globetrotting team

This June will mark ten years since Joseph O’Brien launched his training career in remarkable fashion, saddling four winners from seven runners across the Flat and over jumps on his first day with a licence. If ever there were a case of starting as you mean to go on, this was it.
In the decade since, O’Brien has established himself among the elite, compiling 22 Group 1 victories on the Flat alongside 21 Grade 1 triumphs over jumps, while in February he reached the landmark figure of 1,500 winners as a trainer.
The 32-year-old has enjoyed another outstanding jumps season, highlighted by five Grade 1 successes, but attention now turns to the sphere in which the stable places its greatest emphasis.
