Conditions were slower than ideal for him when he won the Futurity at the Curragh in August but he's tough and ground it out. He started off in the Prix de Fontainebleau over a mile at Longchamp yesterday and will appreciate better ground and a step up in distance.

She won nicely on her debut over seven furlongs at Leopardstown late last season. She has been working nicely and went back to Leopardstown for the 1,000 Guineas Trial on Saturday. She needed the experience and should progress nicely from the run.

We're very happy with him. He put on plenty of condition over the winter. Consequently we haven't been rushing him but he has been progressing well in recent weeks and it's likely that he'll go straight to the Guineas at Newmarket. He was a big two-year-old and we never really asked him any questions at home before he made his debut at the Curragh. When Donnacha gave him a squeeze that day he took off and won very nicely. He went on to win the Beresford at Naas and then the Racing Post Trophy. We'll see how things go at Newmarket before making further plans. 1m2f might suit him well and whether we might try 1m4f remains to be seen. All his runs have been with different degrees of ease in the ground and we think he'll appreciate better conditions.
