Few trainers mix quality and quantity better than David O'Meara, who has built up one of the most powerful operations in the north.

O'Meara ended last year's shortened campaign on exactly 100 winners, reaching three figures for the eighth time in a row, and that was not the only landmark to celebrate as he recorded his 1,000th Flat winner in Britain last July, little more than ten years after sending out his first runner.

This year has already brought more victories to toast with the ever-reliable Lord Glitters dazzling at Group 1 level in Dubai and Summerghand winning the All-Weather Sprint Final and Group 3 Abernant Stakes.
