He was very good at Navan. We want to get him over fences sooner rather than later but might sneak in one more run over hurdles first. There’s a winners’ of two at Thurles next week and he might go there. He loves soft ground and has schooled great.

This is a horse we think a hell of a lot of. We thought he would be one of our better novice hurdlers this season and it was nice to get that maiden hurdle out of the way at Roscommon on Monday. He was a bit fresh and gassy early on but he did it well. We’ll make a plan for him and look for a novice hurdle in a few weeks’ time. While he should stay further, he isn’t slow either.

He’s not run for us yet, but did well for Tony Martin and I’d imagine he’ll compete in all the good staying hurdles on soft ground through the winter.
