Last season was comfortably Joe Tizzard's best since taking over the licence at Venn Farm from father Colin, with 69 winners at an impressive strike-rate of 18 per cent.
Cue Card, Thistlecrack and Native River featured in a golden period for the stable not so long ago, and, while another standout Grade 1 contender is yet to emerge, some well-bought youngsters all have the potential to reach those heights.
The Changing Man is on track to compete in Britain's two most valuable handicap chases, starting with the Coral Gold Cup at Newbury and with the Randox Grand National the longer-term goal, while progressive hurdler Alexei is among the favourites for Sunday's Greatwood Hurdle at Cheltenham.
