Slow progress towards the legalisation of sports betting in Connecticut is causing frustration at betting technology business Sportech, but chief executive Richard McGuire said last week that lots of work was being done to take the company forward.

He was speaking as London-listed Sportech announced its interim results for the first half of the year.

Total group revenue of £32.6 million was down from £33.2m using constant currency, while adjusted earnings of £3.4m were down from £3.9m on the same basis.
