Ado McGuinness is enjoying his finest run as a trainer and, with nine winners already recorded at Dundalk this winter, only Mick Halford and Joseph O'Brien have had a better run.

On the face of it, the Dublin-based operator has been punching well above his weight, but delve a little deeper and the achievements are all the more impressive given he has so few workers on the ground.

"The staff situation has become one of the biggest headaches for me and most trainers throughout the past few years and, to be honest, I'm not sure if it'll get much better," McGuinness reveals.
