Under normal circumstances the Boodles May festival at Chester would be in full swing this week and one man who is surely missing the meeting more than most is Chester-loving Marwan Koukash. Mark Boylan caught up with the charismatic character to find out how he became an owner.


One of the bank managers that was helping with a project of mine invited me to the races one day back in 2007.

I never had any interest in horseracing at that stage. Actually, I couldn't understand why anyone would sit in front of the television and watch racing with their betting slips.
