'He's a proper bet taking on inferior sprinters - and has all the tools needed to dominate this division'
Professional gambler Matt Williams is next up in our unmissable series

What’s your best bet of the meeting?
Shadow Of Light has the speed to cope with the drop back to six furlongs in the Commonwealth Cup and is a proper bet taking on inferior sprinters. There was always a doubt about him staying the mile in the 2,000 Guineas, and I think if he truly stayed we would have had a different winner. His Middle Park win was a devastating performance and I’m keen to see more of that. Just go six furlongs with him all the way, until Del Mar, then win the Breeders' Cup Mile – that’s a proper campaign. He’s got all the tools needed to dominate the six-furlong sprint division domestically.
The Queen Anne looks a cracker – where’s your money going?
Rosallion is great value. We have to believe his run in the Lockinge was a high-level prep. I think he’s far and away the most talented horse in the race and he should be more like a 6-4 shot. If he had been able to finish his three-year-old season, we’d have all been licking our lips in anticipation of this campaign. I hope he doesn't disappoint, because he's an absolute specimen.
Can anything beat Field Of Gold in the St James’s Palace?
Not in a clean race with him turning up in top form. However, we've seen some hard-luck stories in this race down the years and things can get messy around the turning mile at Ascot. That's my only concern. Tactically, he could sit third on the outside and still win, and I hope they keep it simple.
