Willie Mullins looks to have a strong Champion Hurdle contender in five-year-old Saldier, who did well to win the Grade 1 Morgiana Hurdle at Punchestown recently considering he was returning from a year on the sidelines. Further big-race victories are highly likely this season.
Similar comments apply to last season's top staying hurdler Paisley Park, who sits atop of his division and ought to have good prospects of a second Stayers' Hurdle success for Emma Lavelle.
On the novice hurdle front, unbeaten Andy Dufresne looks another top prospect for Gordon Elliott and ought to have plenty of further wins en route to the festival.
Stablemate Shattered Love looked back to her best with a wide-margin win at Clonmel and has the option of easy pickings in mares' chases.
Min won three Grade 1 chases for Mullins last season and further big race wins are likely to come from this major talent.
Elegant Escape might well have improved again this term judging by an eyecatching second in the Charlie Hall on his return and looks an ideal candidate for major chases when stamina is at a premium, while last season's leading staying novice hurdler Champ impressed with the manner of his winning debut over fences at Newbury.
Defi Du Seuil has more victories in him after a winning return at Cheltenham, while Paul Nicholls has clearly unearthed another major chasing star in Saturday's Christy 1965 Chase winner Cyrname.
Indeed, Saturday's performance suggested that this up-and-coming seven-year-old may now be the best jumps horse in training.
It is also worth following Fakir D'oudairies, who won well on his reappearance at Navan.
