The restorative powers of point-to-pointing are being amply demonstrated again this season by the success of horses who formerly raced under rules.

Leading the way is 14-year-old Southfield Theatre, a class act for Paul Nicholls before his form tailed off into figures of PP3P in the spring of 2018.

Transferred to Sara Bradstock as a fun ride for daughter Lily, Southfield Theatre has rediscovered his mojo and is the season's leading pointer by virtue of seven wins.
